Salman Khan  was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Salman Khan  is an Indian actor, film producer, and television personality who works predominantly in Hindi films.

Salman Khan is often referred to as the "Bhaijaan" of Bollywood, a term of endearment meaning "brother."

He made his acting debut in 1988 with the film  "Biwi Ho To Aisi,"  but gained widespread recognition with his second film,  "Maine Pyar Kiya" (1989).

Besides acting, Khan is actively involved in philanthropic work and has launched his own charitable organization called "Being Human."
