Narendra Modi  

Narendra Modi was born in Vadnagar, a town in the Mehsana district of Gujarat, India.

Narendra Modi's full  name is  Narendra Damodardas Modi.

Narendra Modi's mother's name is Heeraben Modi.

Modi joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a Hindu nationalist organization, in his youth.

He became the Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2001 and served in that position for 13 years.

In 2014, he led the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to a historic victory in the Indian general elections and became the 14th Prime Minister of India.

He launched various initiatives such as "Make in India," "Digital India," and "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan"  to drive economic growth and social development.

"Mann Ki Baat"  is a monthly radio program initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in October 2014.

On November 8, 2016, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the demonetization of ₹500 and ₹1,000 currency notes.

He was re-elected as Prime Minister in 2019, securing a second term with a larger majority.
